My mission is to help teens strengthen their mental health through reflection, writing, and acts of kindness.
Jamie D. Anderson is a writer, mom, and co-founder of the STAMINA Foundation, a nonprofit that empowers youth through literacy, leadership, and acts of kindness. She is the creator of the Everything is AOK Teen Journal, a guided journal that helps teen girls build confidence, gratitude, and emotional balance in an age of constant noise.
With an MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University and more than a decade of experience in Organizational Leadership, Community Outreach, and as a Career Coach, Jamie blends real-world insight with heart-centered storytelling. Her work has been featured in ModernMom, The Good Men Project, and Medium, where she shares faith-based reflections on personal growth, family, and purpose.
When she’s not writing, Jamie works alongside her husband, former NBA Champion Derek Anderson, to inspire young people to lead with kindness and resilience.
As a teen, journaling gave me a voice before I had the confidence to use it out loud. It was a safe place to sort through emotions, dream about the future, and build faith in myself.
That simple habit became a lifelong tool for reflection and growth. Years later, as a wife and mother, I saw how much today’s teens needed the same outlet; a break from the noise, a place to breathe, and the freedom to just be.
Out of that vision came The Everything is AOK Teen Journal, a guided journal designed to help girls ages 12–18 build confidence, gratitude, and emotional resilience. Each page encourages reflection through prompts that focus on kindness, faith, and self-discovery.
It’s more than a notebook; it’s a mirror that helps young people see their strength and their worth.

Together with my husband, former NBA Champion Derek Anderson, I co-lead the STAMINA Foundation, an organization rooted in resilience and compassion. We create programs that teach youth how to push through life’s challenges with courage, faith, and kindness.
From literacy drives to mentorship programs, our goal is simple: to give every young person the tools to believe that everything is AOK.

When I’m not writing or working with our foundation, you’ll find me spending time with my family, dreaming up new ways to inspire others, or reminding my daughter that her voice, and her kindness, matter.
Every story, every book, and every journal I create comes back to one belief:
when you live with gratitude and faith, your story can change the world.
